How can I be approved for the Postwhores?

I'm going to see if Jillio knows anything about light boxes and their overall effect on the skin. After I hear back from her, I'll let you know what I find out.

Good. I am interested.:)

60 pounds is a lot. Your old coat won't keep you warm, it will let in cold air if so much too big.

No it won't mate as last years coat is a size 18 and I currently wear 7-8. The old coat would swallow me whole and still not do much good for warmth. I am considering getting this one from American Eagle as a birthday gift to myself:
Garment Details - American Eagle Outfitters Clicky on the link. The cost is quite expensive but several seasons of use and abuse it would pay for itself. Of course I would have to order this in XS or S for it to fit my small frame. I am considering to get it in black as that color matches well with nearly everything and I can get a nice pea coat for nicer occassions at Christmas.

That looks like a good, warm coat. It also looks sturdy so you would get your money worth from long wear. Looks stylish too.:)

Yes, American Eagle is good quality clothing. Im a firm a believer in you get what you pay for. If you pay cheaply for something, expect cheap results or performance from the product.

Of course however I do admit to purchasing my underwear from Wal-Mart and on occassion from Kmart.

I have a nice, warm genuine leather coat that I (believe it or not) purchased on eBay for $20 several years ago. At $20, it was a bargain I couldn't pass up. The coat is unbelievably warm and has a zippered leather hood that I can wear as well.

From now on, the only kind of coat I will purchase is leather since they are so warm and comfy.

Im assuming cow, but if it was made in China it could be cat or dog, sadly. :(

That is sad. But it could only be if it was the little patchwork kind, since the skins of cats of dogs would be so small.

True.

Anyhow, I need something that able to take abuse, as I quite literally put my clothing through the ringer. I also don't like to fuss with dry cleaners as in m rural area we have no local dry cleaners, I would have to drive nearly an hour one way to have a garment cleaned.

leather isnt conducive to that. I would prefer something that I can throw in the wash once or twice a year and hang dry it on the stair rail. I also hate nylon puffers which are down filled that make you look like a colorful Michelin Man.

I've had my leather coat for the past several years and haven't dry cleaned it even once. It's not dirty (from what I've been told) and it's still continuing to hold up well to the elements.

Me too. I got my husband one on ebay cheap too, and it is nice thick leather. I am pretty certain it is labeled as cowhide.

Yep, that sounds right.

My sister thought I was crazy ordering a leather coat off of eBay and doesn't believe that I got it for such a great deal.

I love eBay.

Agreed wholeheartedly, Hear Again. Astounding bargains at Ebay!
