Well I crochet and scrapbooking. I stopped making crafts. Too much stuff so I'll stick with crochet and scrapbooking. I do have sewing machine but I need to learn to sew with PATIENCE! :giggle:

Thanks you saw my other woodcutting and my step fathers.... Im going to make a sign language clock next.... And a Raggie Ann Jewerly box.... Im still looking for more patterns.. A neighboor just brought a granny and grandpa sign.. it was soo freaking cute.. It was also simple... They hung it on their front door.. My parents took a picture of it on a digital camera so eventually once I download it on the computer I will post the rest on here. Im wanting to make a Dresser or something like that.. Its going to be a lot work.. The next person wants is there name on it, so they can hang it on their porch. Somebody wanted a wood that look like a doggie bone and cut the dogs name on it... Turned out great also.. When I get around to it I will post the rest on here. It's neat.. Im wanting to do candles as you know already but need to get the items first!! Since I kinda want to disign my room like into old fashion or whatever its called.. I will post a picture of it how I would like it to be... So it takes time... As you know Im looking for that pattern you like....
 
I do crosssitich and I love it. My grandma taught me how to do it. So I love to do it whenever I can. :cool:
 
Wow Opal , I really love those dolls that you made there, I do collect dolls myself but I dunno how to make any through...Very nice, :)
 
I do the unfinished wood craft, I paint 'em. I love doing it. I also do the crochet. I just so love it. I do only afghans, scarves and hats. I am now learning to do cross stitching and knitting.

I suck at scrapbooking. I tried to be so creative but I SUCK, thats the truth.

wow it´s beautiful woodcutting picture...

I made similar picture as you when I was 15 years old... I still have 3 pictures on the wall in 1st living room...

I started to learn how to do woodcutting picture as beginner



After that, I like to try again... do with 2nd picture - deer then 3rd picture - duck...

Oh yes, I remember from saw those dolls and teddy in your house... tooo beautiful but expensive hobby... It sounds that you stop to make dolls... Your last was at 5 years ago... Very beautiful... I tried at workshop here in Germany after saw your dolls but tooo expensive fee and plus material costs :eek3: ... Those prices, I want to try are almost same as buy dolls in the store. I still have cup of doll, you made for me here. Do you want me to take a picture of cup doll to post here?
 
Cutting wood as "plate" for hang on the wall... I made it with duck paper-napkins.



I tricked with paint/oil to make picture frame look antique and then use paper-napkin and then trick on antique look on the picture. some painting on it.



I also trick with paint/oil on the picture frame to make it look antique and then use paper-napkin as picture...



I do the same with picture frame as well and then use paper-napkins and also painting as well.



I made picture with few paper-napkins and painting...



I addict on paper-napkins... I collect over 1,000 paper napkins... :giggle:

The recent one was about a month ago, it is unfinished doll - with no clothes, and no hair yet. The same doll as the last one in the picture but comes with blue eyes this time, and I will look for a blond mohair hair wig and thinking what type of reproduction antique dress will I make for her soon or later.

Thank you, I went to Doll Artist's class and learn how to make it from kiln oven and painting. The class course is not cheap I quit, I make the dolls at home.

how to make crafts with paper-napkins - Google-Suche

For starter: I would recommend you to use piece of wood like round wood or thick paper... until you familiar with it then do glass, vase, cup, plate, pictures, etc.

Paint cream, white or light color on wood or thick paper... until they are dry then use Mod Podge (decoupage sealer and adhesive)... you know that paper-napkins have 3 paper in one... remove 2 papers (see description from those link)...

See the example what I made vases, pictures, lamp-vase, etc. etc.

I made those vases of glass vase... spray colors... paper-napkins...

I added olive paper-napkins on the 4 corner of ceiling in the mud-room.


I made with many different paper-napkins and painting ... and then frame the picture.





I have many things for my house with paper-napkins...

Craft with paper-napkins is my hobby...

I will start to make paper-napkins as wallpaper-border for kitchen next week.. I´m going to cut the form out of paper-napkins as vegetable form and then take picture of them...




I would recommend you to start with piece of wood or paper to start with paper-napkins... Remember it´s very sensitive to work on with paper-napkins because it could end to wrinkles easy.... Take time and paint paper-napkins with Mod modge. Good Luck...

For oil painting to trick antique look on the picture frame is too complication to explain. I would suggest you to buy the book how to do with restoration on the furniture.. I tried to google English website for restoration but it´s hard to find... Restoration work is different as crafts...
