Right?

I am watching Oprah...

and I see many people looking healthy....

And some take medication and other don't have to take medication...

And 1 out of every 4 people have HIV...

I don't understand why we should be afraid of HIV?

I think HIV is like Cancer, using Chemotherapy to get rid of Cancer...
and sometimes Cancer can grow back...
 
You watch too much TV and too much soap operas. Time to get out and see what's out in the real world? Want me to take you out for a spin around the world? You'll see what you've been missing out on, the ocean, the mountains, you'll get to experience the beauty of the outdoors. ;)

More than 25 million people around the world have died from aids just since the early 80's.


And just in africa alone there are over 12 million orphaned childrened because their parents have died from AIDS.

What children? Unless she buys frozen sperm and impregnates herself with a turkey baster, I just don’t see it happening. She’s a fruitcake extraordinaire; just look at this blog entry I found last night. If she snags a man, I'll personally buy her a Lexus as a wedding present. :roll:

Yeah I know that many people died from AIDS...

But HIV, you have to take medicine sometimes, depend on your body system...

Magic Johnson was being positive about his disease... he and his
wife have now casually unprotected sex.

If I get HIV, I will look up to him as a role model...

But I hope I don't get HIV, because I have enough burden on me...

Just because he got HIV, doesn't mean his life is over...
He own many resturants and he exercise and taking medicine and
living life normal....

Just because I got a face like this... I should just live with it in a positive
way.

Right?

My sister called me chicken head all the time... over the phone...
and I called her fat pig. But we still love each other.

I have had a good friend die from AIDS in 2003 and it was a painful death.

And, last week, one of my good interpreters (the one who interpreted for me right after I woke up from my CI surgery) died. From AIDS.

So, having HIV/AIDS is REALLY BAD!

What the fuck are you smoking? Whatever it is, it's really frying your brain cells!

HIV/AIDS is no longer the automatic death sentence that it once was, but that doesn't mean it should be taken lightly.

Many people with AIDS live their lives taking toxic drugs that keeps the virus in check. These drugs don't always work. When they fail, the person is then susceptible to the infections that can take their lives. Those that remain healthy must continue taking these drugs. That's no picnic, either. The drugs have awful side effects. Some people opt to stop the medications because of the side effects they have.

Life with HIV/AIDS is a challenge, and people STILL lose their lives.

I wouldn't wish the virus on anybody.
 
welll I hope one day we get cure for Aids and HIV patients...

I wish I know the answer

with the disease, I hope we can find the cure and for our sakes too.
