High Heels - Not a girl's best friend!

Yeah, but they last forever, so you really get your money's worth.

That you do.

I've had mine since 1994 when I bought them at the Birkenstock shoe store in Columbus, Ohio on N. High St., across from Ohio State. Cost was $90.00 then--now way over $115.00!

Dang! I've got a pair from there, too! Green sandals!

^that's a lot of money for Birks :giggle:

Right now I am loving my DIESEL shoes no matter how cold it is outside... I don't care JL

Hubby loves his VANS so much!!

We grabbed the only pair on sale and it was his size. He wore it out and we're looking around for another pair in his size.

He wants Converse Classic as well.

Black & White converses?

Hubby wants that, yes. I looked on Ebay but last time we bought a pair of good sandals, he wasn't comfortable with that. He has to try it on before buying it.

His size is 13 and that's a tough size because it can be a tight fit or a loose fit.

I used to wear high heels when I was working for an insurance company in the early 90s...as a teacher, it is not feasable to wear them and besides, I have plantar fisces from playing softball for decades so I am sure my feet would end up hurting.

I wonder if these models would sue the shoe companies for making such lethal heels? :giggle:

I once heard that the models sometimes have to wear shoes that are either too tight or too large for them... (though not sure whether that is true). In case it is... no wonder that they are tripping... besides some of those surfaces on catwalks are REALLY slippery...

I used to wear high heels when I was about 20 years old. I put high heels shoes on and I walked slow when my ankle almost bend down. I took them off and never used them again. I don't want my ankle break down, that's what I am afraid. I feel comfortable to wear flat shoes.

I owned 369 pairs of shoes at one time...

Not one single pair was a set of high heels.

No, thanks! I'm not suicidal.

 Where did you stock those up? I gotta print out your post for my bf 'cause he constantly mocks me and I only owe like 36 pairs of shoes :giggle:

I had a shoe closet just for my shoes, lol. One day my mother was at my house and she came in the kitchen and said, "Girl! I went in that closet and did an inventory...you have 369 pairs of shoes!! You need to get HELP!"

GULP!!!

I did give a lot of them away to women's shelters because after I had my baby, my shoe size went from 5 1/2 to 6 1/2! After my second baby, my shoe size was 7 to 7 1/2.

wow and I thought only 3 pairs were excessive for me lol. One of these shoes happen to be 10 years old and I still wear it on weekend basis tho.

I'd have Skechers.

I had 369 pairs but probably wore 4 or 5 pairs on a regular basis... I'm pathetic, LOL.

And like Jillo, I'm a Birks and Clarks gal. ;) Being comfy is a must!
