Ive posted some but figured I should introduce myself. I'm 16 years old and Deaf although I have a moderately severe to profound loss in my better ear. I was raised oral and was mainstreamed until about a month ago. I now attend Texas School for the Deaf and I am really enjoying it.

to AllDeaf Forum. I wish I was in a Deaf school in the old days in Minnesota but the Superintendent refused to have me in a Deaf school as I was doing well in the mainstream school barf. I was not allowed to sign ASL back then. I hate oral method and Special Education. I dreaded mainstream schools.

You are so lucky to be in a Deaf school after the mainstream school. Good. I hope you enjoy reading and posting here. See you around here.
