hi new here deaf felmale with tourettes to looking for friends

being deaf is hard but with tourettes to is even harder is there anyone else here who has tourettes or heard of this i am from kent and love to meet new people

I'm somewhat familiar with Tourette Syndrome.
 
I grew up with a twin brother that has TS. I am real familiar with it.
 
I'm familiar with TS, but is it different as a deaf person?
 
in my area i dont know any deaf friends and my nearist tourettes club is about 2 hours away i find it hard being deaf people.not understanding me and with my tourettes as i have my voice i do swear as well as do differnt kinds of tics its just so hard not having anyone to just chill out with i also have epelisy so yer bad on me a if there is anyone in the folkestone area or knows.of anythink.please let me know please but glad i find this site

Lol! I thought it was so important you had to say it twice!!! :)

My ex wife has epilepsy, so I am used to that. I've met many people I suspected had tourette but never asked them. It doesn't bother me and I just ignore the tics. If you are ever in the Baltimore are, I'd hang out with you.
 
my ex boyfrined who I dated for 2 years have TS. He swear too much and have some ticks in addition he have ADHD and learning disability.

My twin brother has it pretty bad. Growing up he would clap, jerk his arms, legs, head, make faces and grunt.

Now that he wears a ball cap, he constantly tips his hat, then adjust. He never had the cussing part. Thank goodness.

He had surgery on his arms last year with some pins put in where he broke his wrist. They put a removable cast on his arm. He took it off so he can jerk his arm and manage to break two pins out of three in his arm. They ended up having to do another surgery and putting on a hard cast.


He was picked on a lot. I would say majority of my childhood fights were over people picking on him.
