Hello everyone, I'm Marisa! I'm from northern New Jersey. I'm hearing, but have recently become very interested in Deaf culture and in sign language. I started taking sign language classes about a year ago in college and I have been taking ASL classes ever since! My goal is to become fluent in sign language one day. I'm on this site to learn more about Deaf culture and to make friends who would be willing to be patient with me as I learn how to sign and who would be willing to help me learn sign language even more and better as well! Hope to chat with some of you soon! :)

Careful signing out there in Jersey. You don't want anyone to mistake you for flashing gang signs. :)
 
Hahaha thanks for the warning PitbullDaddy! Thankfully, I don't live in an area of NJ that has gang problems so I think I'll be okay!
