I just went to Mississauga, Toronto and London in March. LOVED it. Where in Ont. Are you?

Is that by where animals barn are? I'll try to find, otherwise u can find me @ dfl booth 12-3 where I work (its on cooper and dan patch avenue, 2 blocks away from gate #5 snelling avenue)... What are your hours? Tomorrow it'll be 11 days that I survived the fair.... So next yr will be 12 days!! I'm frickin tired after working double shift again (I worked double shift last fri).....

Fair's over now, but the Pet Center is at the WAY other end of the fair. All the way on the other end of Underwood.

Another Minnesotan here

I, too, am from Minnesota. I live in Eagan, and work in Bloomington so we are not too far from one another. I am hearing, but know sign language. I have 2 kids also - Nathaniel is 4 and Esther is 1.

Maybe we could get together for a cup of coffee or somethings since we are close to one another?

Wow, little kids! My sons are 10 & 12 and love little kids. (My older son is probably old enough to babysit. LOL)

This weekend my greyhound group has it's annual picnic (www.nlga-mn.org) if you want to stop by. I'll have a booth with pottery and copper art and collars and whatever else I can scrape together. Everyone is welcome! I'll also have my dogs with me.

I would love to introduce more of the Deaf community to greyhounds, as well! You can pretend they're service dogs! (Really, they don't do much other than lay around.)

(Is it just me or does the :P emoticon look a little too...um...eager?)

Welcome to AD and neighbor.. .. I am just right across your town.. our kids and i just moved to bloomington last april.. and love it..

I noticed your kids are 12 and 10... my kids are 15, 12 1/2, 11, 9, 3 and 1.. yep-- all my 6 kids.. eh..

someday we can sit and go for chat.. plus you have greyhound.. I thought its not good to have greyhound in minnesota because of winter? our old landlord said such things shit about greyhound isnt allow in minnesota. i was like wtf.. i have seen rescue greyhounds around here from wisconsin greyhound races...

I was planning to adopt greyhound but i end up adopted blueheeler cattledog mix.. hes toughie.. :/ but got to love him anyway.. hehe..

The dogs actually love winter! THey do get cold standing around outside in low temps, but who doesn't? We don't do a lot of that, anyway. They love playing at the dog park in the snow, and wear coats when we go for walks. We run together in the winter though, and we ALL get hot.

I'd love to take the dogs/kids for a walk some time, or hit Starbucks for a chai!
