Hi!
Hi, how are you? My name is Avian. I am hearing as well and have been studying ASL for the past 3 years because I wanted to become an interpreter as well, but recently decided I would like to teach in a Deaf school instead. So now I am going to school for Deaf Education and Art Education. I am on this site to hopefully gain more friends who use ASL so that I can continue to learn and grow. How long have you and your boyfriend been together?

Welcome aboard once again. I can see you are very interested in learning about Deaf Culture and Education in order to grow and become a Certified Sign Language Interpreter. YOU CAN DO IT!!. Perhaps, you could borow a leaf from Beth by dating a nice, good and mature Deaf gentleman that could be an added advantage for you in your goal to teach in Deaf School.
