My thoughts and prayer for her continuing... I miss her and her sharing posts over recipes....

It's very very sad to know about her healthy issue because she's young but it's great to know that her parents inform about her healthy...

Oh That's a good new to share it with us all and surely, We all would keep praying for her and hope for the best.
 
TOF was in my thoughts when I read this thread a few days ago, and I am glad to see she is recovering. :)
 
Oh that is a good news and keep it coming. My prayer and thought for her and her family and friends and of course us at AD. I will not stop even if I am doing something. :D :hug: TOF
 
Excellence great news hearing! Keep prayers for her til recovery speed up.. take her time until feel ready step her feet back again...

I'm very happy for her being well.. *kept held her hands holds up, no matter what everyones are stood up for her!*

She's in our prayers now. She's also in our thoughts. Speedy recovery and hope she'll be okay soon.
 
update!!

Nothing much new to report on sis FB I just called her parents again today. This is what her mom told me.


They had been doing the kidney dialysis and she hasnt responded to it yet but that they had just started that last Friday, so it is kinda too soon to know if she will or not.


They had been taking her old plasma out and putting new plasma in It went from 7,000 up to 19,000 platelets.

But this morning it went back down to 16,000 so it is still better than the 7,000.


She also says Thank you Kim I read all of her cards to her that night you left and I am to tell everybody we said thank you for the prayers and cards.

so that is todays update spread it around as needed. Thanks all!

A platelet is the smallest type of blood cell. Platelets are the body's first defense against bleeding, helping the blood to clot (coagulate) by collecting at the site of a wound and clumping together to help stop the flow of blood.

People with very low levels of platelets or with bleeding disorders may need to have transfusions of platelets to prevent excessive bleeding.

Ok all another update on the most watched thread ever lol.

I have some good news not as good as we all hope for but still good.

Yesterday morning her platelets went back down to 16,000 well today they are back up to 20,000! So that is great news to hear.


Keep those prayers going. Sounds like she is getting the benefit from them. Let's keep supporting her, maybe she is feeling our support and fighting harder for us.

Well, will update again tomorrow.

:( I've heard about Tongueonfire through Roadrunner and Angel, It's been a really shocking situation, and I know she been through so much for a long time and now this disease she is having sadness me, Angel was talking about going up and visit Tongueonfire and I want to go also, I was wondering Bear is it okay for us to come and visit her? Please let me know you could private message me if you would like.

I do strongly hope that Tongueonfire make it through, She is one great gal that has a lot to live for, and I would hate to see what's she going through right now, she doesn't deserved this, and It's really sad too.
