Hey, don't you think this is a odd? Many people signed up for here but never come here? I noticed only few of us is active, not many before. Is that strange? :hmm:
 
Yeah...I remmy I joined in late 2006 or around there...and did not post until a few years later...as for "why?"...I dunno, and was asked the same question when I finally did post an intro.
 
It's been going on a lot and for some reason I think more lately.
 
I use to to use another web site and some people would sign up just to lurk around. And it was not really allowed .
 
I notice during this time more people are poking sticks at us. :giggle:

nah its all same to me. I joined here 2003 and didnt visit often till 2008 i started visiting often.
 
I belong to many forums on various subjects (Disney, Meniere's, cruising, etc.) It's pretty much the same on most forums. There are always far more members than than there are members who post. There always seems to be a smaller group that post often. And most forums do seem to slow down in the summer and during holidays.

As for this particular forum, for me personally, I have found I have started to post more regularly as my hearing has decreased. I suspect it was my own thing - feeling a bit like an intruder as a hearing person. As my hearing has declined, and I interact with the Deaf community, I feel more like I "belong". Again, it's my own issues as everyone was polite to me from the beginning.
