SUMMER in Seattle!!!!!!! It's going to be scorching in the 90's for 3 days or so starting tomorrow. The fans are going to be working overtime! Too bad we don't have central A/C anyway.

The link below explains how we get pacific northwest heat waves and also explains about how it cools off. It's like the dry desert air shoved the low pressure gradient up to the Northwest.

Stay cool! Drink a lot of fluid :)

You can use the fan to cool you off also.

You can buy window A/C that's what I have. ;)

Yeah best to stay cool...whew a few days ago it was so hot and muggy... had to use the ac to stay cool... now it rained last night and this morning... at least the temps here will cool off big time for me... but the ponds of water are gonna take longer to vanish.. lol..

Here finally cool off. 71 degree. In past week been hot and humid(twice hit 100) then start fast moving storm from west give us a cool off. Thanks to west coast push cool air (low pressure) toward east bring over here. hehehe thanks Seq!!!!

Believe or not? same here. LOL sooo damn HOT but a problem is that I dont have A/C here I have the FANS one in livingroom, and one in my bedroom OH well! I've been live here for 15 years so I am not compalain at all...

heat wave have hit here in michigan it is damn hot and i have automatic A/C
in the house

and i wouldn't stay out for too long only for my dog potty time heh

I'll be fine. I'm used to it. I've experienced 103 degrees outside with NO A/C at the apartment back in Utah. We used fans to try keep cool and drink plenty of cold water and such like that. It's 78 degrees as of 12:15 pm. The winds are blowing from the East which is thermal though picking up.

I have a small fan running at low speed pointing at the cage, but not too close due to tail hazard, it helps to keep the rats cool. :)

Last week the temps were in the triple digits but today was gloomy day. It was alright cooler for me heehee

today was pretty warm, kind of hot but not a scorcher. that will happen tomorrow, forecasts say it'll be in mid 90s. ill be sweating for sure, lol. yeah, I heard it was scorching in portland area, whew.

Thats rough to deal with heat wave without A/C or central air. Don't forget to check in on those loved ones-especially elderly and those with small childrenduring the heat waves.

Oh, that's interesting that you provide link about weather in Northwest.

I do have central AC in house because of humidity, that's much higher in summer, also most houses have central AC too.

DAmn am so jealous of u guys for having ur summers now while i withers away in my cold southerly place. Here it has just been sooo crazy with changeable weather. Up north of me have been very severe flooding and down south of me heavy snowstorms so it kinda weird where i am. Total bummer but soon it will be allll over and my turn to have summer while u have my winters. Good luck with ur summers and enjoy it while u can. :)

Well, You can't buy Central air if you don't own the home.

That's right but there's certain of apartment complexes does offers central AC on each unit (whole room, such as kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom).

Rental house can be somewhere to with or without, better to look on spec or feature before start rent.

I heard about your heat wave. Weather reporters everwhere are talking about it. It must be miserable. I live near Boston and I think we are the coldest area in the country. If I could, I'd send some of our pleasant weather your way.
