That's right.....nothing wrong with that at all. Matter of fact, I think I even know of unaided kids who sucessfully learned to speak. But the thing is, when I'm pushing full toolbox, I'm also remembering the deaf voice off kids who were voice off, who tell their parents they want to learn to speak. It is a little easier to learn to speak/aquire speech skills/have spoken English as an additional tool if you have some input of what sounds, sound like, you know...That's not audist or anything.
