And I am praying for a speedy recovery, she should be fine. a lot of people have to have their appendix's removed for one reason or another. it is a common surgery. you don't need to worry.
 
Meg, I hope your stepsister is doing better now. This surgery is not so risky if the appendix did not burst.
 
Meg, no offense intended, but an appendectomy is nothing to worry about. I had one a few years ago (2002). I woke up in recovery and the first thing I said to the nurse was, "why didn't they do the surgery?" She said, "its already done."

So, its not big deal, Honey. Sis won't notice and recovery will be speedy.
