So, I'm writing a story for my English Class and I thought it would be really interesting to do it from a deaf person's point of view. However, I am not deaf and I have found it really difficult to find a lot of information.
I was hoping some of you guys could help me out a little bit. I want to know about things in your everyday life that you feel are effected by a lack of hearing
Also, what would are hard to lip read? Anything like that would be really helpful :)
Thank You!
P.S, I'm new here and I'm really sorry if I didn't make much sense >.<

Hi Sarah: Can you "imagine" a person becoming DEAF over a weekend and being "suitable" for a Cochlear Implant? What changes do you think would effected?
The change in person's life VS not being "suitable" for a Cochlear Implant- remaining Deaf for the rest of their life?
aside: I do have a Cochlear Implant but as you read here in AllDeaf.com not everyone wants one.
Aside: Speech Reading (lip reading) is very difficult to learn as many English sounds are "down one's throat". One must have to know what the conversation is about and pay attention-all the time. EG "P/B/M" are the same on one's lips-context may be determine what was meant.

Good luck in your story.
