hello

:welcome:

do you guys spend more time on this website or facebook?

Err... I neglect Facebook, I quickly become distracted after posting a status update and checking the notifications.

AD has its quiet moments but you can usually expect a bit of drama stirring about :eek3: if not, create some!

I'm such a good influence aye?

facebook is such a time waster, sometimes I wished i didn't have it...spend countless hours finding out what everyone is and has been doing that you haven't seen in over ten years...i am so bad about remembering names too...all the deaf/hard hearing friends I made back in high school I couldn't tell you their names now...do remember a couple of faces though i think... you can find me on face book....bryan ogle....guy standing up wearing camo hunting clothes (actually a camo hat, a doors t-shirt (big doors fan here), and some brand name camo pants from old navy LOL

I spend more time here on AD, but I do check and spend time of FB each evening. It's the only way I get any info from my brothers.

:rofl2: Love the word mishaps and loopholes.

When I was in 3rd grade and was reading out loud from an English book and came across this name "shiitake," I was hesitant in saying that word aloud but said it anyway. I pronounced it as "shitake." LOL. But, fortunately, my teacher understood my hesitation and gave me the correct pronunciation. Hehe.

I've been spending a ton of time in here since I signed up. I have Facebook, as well, but I don't spend that much time in there. I don't get into the games on FB, as fun as they may be. I use it to keep in contact with my family and friends, and share photos. I also go into a chatroom at Quitnet.com, which is an online support group in smoking cessation. There are quite a few deaf people there. I'm not sure how many, though. I wish this site has a chatroom. Hehe. I love live chat - in text.

Oh, I know how hard it is! I had to quit on top of a medical condition. It was so hard, even with Chantix. But Chantix did the trick for me.
