Hey,
I am new to this site. I was looking for deaf chats,and came across this! I do not know where a whole lot of things are yet,but hopefully this is addicted!
I am from California.I had lived in CA all my life,til about June 08,when I decided to move to Oregon to be close to my grandparents.They are at that age,and need some help.I have a wonderful son who is 3 years old.He understands my problem,as he tells me if someone's knocking on the door,or if the phone is continuing ringing,if I don't answer,and so on.
I was born deaf in my right ear,and hard of hearing in my left ear. There are times where I get upset being like this,but then again it's not my fault.

Anyways,I can't wait to get to meet some people on here,and enjoy the site! I hope there is plenty to offer!

Meet some of our other mommies on here. I think we have brayden's mom, chris' mom, damien's mom, tons more...

Just watch out for the debates and political section. Stand your ground or play observer in those first before joining in, cuz if you're not ready their barks can get pretty scary. Don't worry though, their bites aren't too strong.
 
:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. That is true of what naisho said about the debates and discussions. I am one of them debating on the subject of our Deaf issues and I guess I might have start the flame but you will learn a lot of why it is important to us, Deafies. I guess you will have to be tough to understand the way we are thinking and feel like to vend our emotion. Just have fun reading and posting all the threads here. See you around. :wave:
