I'm a former teacher, late deafened and now an editor and writer. My sister, four years older, was born deaf and taught me ASL before I could talk. Sure came in handy when I was losing my hearing over a twenty-year span and then became totally deaf in 2001.

I hope to get reacquainted here at AllDeaf.
