I lived in Berthoud fifteen years ago and worked at IBM Boulder. One of my colleagues left the contractor/temp agency and got a job at Lexmark. She sent me a link about you a couple of years ago. Do you know any Deaf from Longmont?

Thats funny, I work AT lexmark!! 9 years now! there's very few deafies in longmont. Mostly are in denver.

I'm blessed to have a wonderful wife (and three kids). All hearing but my wife has a deaf heart and is incericbly(sp?) fluent in asl (thanks to me! :whistle: ) a built in mentor she got! :cheers:

Yeah, I know. Good to have you here, anyway! By the way, I'm hoh and have a hearing dog, an Akita/German Shepherd female named Snickers <<Snickers takes a bow>>
 
Hello and welcome! I live up in Laramie, but I go down to Boulder almost every weekend 'cuz that's where the cool kids hang. ;)

no, you might be thinking of ANOTHER lance who I think did. the other Lance was more of a cowboy. :)

I was mainstreamed then graduated at CSBD while mainstreamed.

I see you graduated at CSDB in 1989. I was little boy in second grade at CSDB and my parent took me out of CSDB to Jefferson Elementary school not far from CSD in 1979. I moved to Wyoming in 1983 due to my dad was military.

I never made in Senior year in high school in 1990 so decided to take GED and passed in 1993.

I know of WYRID but not involved much with them. I still live in Cheyenne. :)

Oooh, I recognize you now! lol! I graduated from East High in Cheyenne in 1992. Small world!

Lol yes thats me (Krisi) :) Gosh I've not been to Cheyenne in so long, I was there 4 years ago, then I went back this year in Feb. when my Grandpa died. But I was only there for a couple nights.

Finally you found me. I will tell my sister about you. Yeah last time I saw you with my sister was 8 years ago that is quite long time ago. I am in small world but enjoying here. Last time I saw your sister shopping at safeway 5 years ago.
 
Welcome Lance, enjoy your stay @ AllDeaf for long time as you can... I'm a orginial native Denver, Coloradian. Also Oakley moved to Colorado here from Chicago last year... Hope to see ya around!

I was VERY busy yesterday, but finally saw this. I worked with both Madeline Deutch (she mailed the link) and Emma Diaz (Deaf worker @ IBM. Has twin sister) during my CO days. Enjoy AD.
 
I know there are many deafs in front range and anywhere in Colorado!

I have a question. Is Deafies correct spelled? I thought deafs should be? Plural(s)?

I dont want to use the word deaf people... so I tend to use the word deafies short for deaf people... I should use the proper english but in AD I tend to go blah with my languages... ;)
