To answer your question...

It feels good to be part of a deaf community. I grew up in a hearing community. The only deaf community I was part of, while growing up, was in public school. After coming to RIT, that's when I became part of a good deaf community.

thanks everyone! and yeah, its really fun learning asl. but the sentence structure gets kinda confusing. im getting used to it though.
