Hello AD Users and Guests,
I was just floating around the 'net for a site like this. I don't have many contacts who know sign language around me, so I'm hoping maybe that'll happen through this and also read up on cultural/personal issues. Also, I wonder about the things I was exposed to when I was growing up in Deaf Camps and classes attribute to my behavior now as a young man out of UC Davis (BA Political Science 2007). I realize that it's difficult for me to get out of the house and into social situations because sometimes I can't follow what's going on (I don't have the brainpower to do this for 3 hours) and I end up drawing myself out. I know a little ASL and I am definitely rusty. Maybe some local community college classes will snap me out of that. My experiences are definitely unique and would like to contribute as much as I can.
