I was wondering if any of you know a place where deaf people socialize. I'd like to be more involved in the deaf community.

Hey, Sajche.

It might be tough and not as easy as it sounds to get accepted, as certain deafs may prefer to speak to other deafs/hard of hearing people. Not all though.
Are you on facebook? I looked up Deaf related groups there and I see plenty of listings.

DPHH is another way to meet new people (Deaf Professional Happy Hour), you can google it for more info or just go to dphh.com. However there's none in the SD area that I know of, they're just up around LA in Orange/Riverside.

Are you taking ASL classes at Mesa College or Palomar College? Both colleges have ASL Clubs, plus you can check the calendar on DCSFSD.org
