looking to get to know any one
anywhere
but still like to know if there is
anyone from NC??

Nice to meet ya
nice to know someone is a part of NC.

You are much farther away from where
I am ... it is a small town of East Coast
not too far from Nags Head,
I've been to Morganton once and that was a long way back
then.

I'm looking to make new online friends not matter where you are
even to find if any of them are close to where I am at, so we can
invite more of them to come Silent Diner (build up more deaf community)
so...in this small town where there are only about 10 deaf people here.
Half of them either drive an hour or more to least then a few mintues drive to
get here and meet with the deaf. It's always a nice surprise to see
new face.

Hmmm....don't know who here from NC. I'd like to be, but stuck on other side of the country.

Yeah, nice to meet ya too...Nags Head is a nice place....but never been there. I'm from the deep heart of the mountains south of Canton and Waynesville in Haywood Co. and there is only 4 deaf people I know of that live here. I'm the only one who grew up here. The rest just move here from Florida, California and Tennessee. There is no deaf social here except for Asheville and I don't go there.....I'm always on the road every weekend going to many different dirt tracks mostly in Georgia. Toccoa Speedway is my so-called hometrack. Nice to talk to ya!:wave:
