gosh im sorry to be a snob. but newcomers barging in demanding 'friends' is a bit too fast.....and ASL is American Sign Langauge, Quite different, Its not an Aussie sign, they are more known as Auslan......

Ugh... you do realise Australia has its own sign language?

I learned AUSLAN (Australian sign language) for many years at Queensland Deaf Society, at also two different colleges. It is nothing like ASL or BSL and now I am learning Finnish sign which is different again (viittomakieli).
