Hey everyone! 
I'm Morgan, and I am hearing. But i want to understand deaf culture more, so i i joined hoping this would be a good place to start. I have two deaf friends in my life and i know ASL as well. I am interested in deaf culture because i want to understand it more so i can see things from my two deaf friends perspective better. When i was 2 i had an incident where i punctured my ear drum and almost became deaf in that ear, but i hear fine now, and am not expected to loose my hearing because of it. I already have great respect for deaf people and deaf pride. I currently take ASL 1 in school, but i know a bit more then what has already been taught since my friends are deaf. Both of my deaf friends have cochlear implants, but I am very interested in hearing controversial opinions about implants, whether they are good or not and such. I want to learn anything i can. I am interested in anything you guys can teach me, though i am not totally clueless to the deaf world, i know i have a lot to learn and hope i can understand it more. :P Thanks again in advance!
