We're having a lot of heatwave in the west coast regions up to 120oF. To those in the west areas... be safe and drink plenty of water and stay cool. :thumb:

Dangerous Heat Roasts Southwest

I think I saw that Arizona is in the 100+ degrees.

HOT !!

Stay cool, everybody. We have about 80 here, but very humid with all the rain.

This is Death Valley, California.

We have temps for this week 108,109.109,110,106.

Thankfully my AC is working and has been running all day!!! PG&E bill will be crazy.

Saw this on the news last night (Death Valley)...boy, that's really HOT!...We're having temps in the lower 90's so far...but rain in the evenings....i've been staying in a lot...not too much Sun for me as I had skin cancer twice...not wished upon anyone...

We are at 106 high today and it is 91 at 11:30 pm now. Not a drop of rain to be had and our lakes are nearly dry.
Oink, I see you too are from Texas.

Yeah, Texas tend to be hot and very humid mostly in the south part. It's currently 88o in Houston area where I used to live. Houston tend to have low temperature around mid 70's at nights which is warm.

I couldn't handle those temps ... I almost melt when its in the 90's here I can't even imagine almost 130 degrees ugh ... even Texas either I lived in Lake Jackson. Texas awhile in 1997 and almost died it was hot and humid like I'd never seen in my life ... I stayed inside all the time about as soon as you step outside your drenched.

It's going to be 111 here tomorrow. Luckily we just had our AC serviced, it's been running all day. Suppose to be this hot all week. Hate to see what my PG&E bill will be.

We have bought insulated curtains, laid tile floors and are working slowly on the house to help keep it free from the bad dust and the high heat.

At least it is dry heat, humid heat is totally intolerable for me. I can only imagine how it will be in the Appalachian region later this year.

Yeah it's been pretty bad here but I think we are comparable to yours. I try not to run it on the whole day and shut it off for periods and just water the lawn/yard at night instead.

I've also house sitting for an associate who's currently staying in Sac until August. It needs to have all the stuffs locked just for safety. Going in there is like an oven!

My friends and family in the southern Appalachians say it is still raining. Wish we had some of the rain here.

So far, there seems to be no rolling blackouts this week.

Central FL has heat indices in the mid 90s with our humidity, any way you cut it, it's still hot!

Yes - same with deep south.

Hot as hell with crazy heat at most days.

Whew... no heatwave here yet. If heatwave here then, I'll put my ice bag on my head.
