Heyo, I'm Vereiah. I'm from Tennessee, and I have had very little experience with the deaf community - indeed, the only experience I've had with it are the two days of ASL 1010 I've had so far this semester. But I think it's interesting, and it's good to talk to new people.
For some years I've wanted to learn ASL, but I never got around to it. Dating a girl who is physically mute (but can hear), triggered me to start taking classes. So, here I am, trying to learn more about deaf culture in addition to the language.
