Hearing Aid Survey

Hello! I am a student pursuing my bachelor's in Communication Disorders and Deaf Education. One of my assignments for this program includes interviewing people that wear hearing aids. I was wondering if you could possibly help me and answer a few questions concerning your hearing aids. I apologize if these questions have been asked before. I did try to do a search to find a thread concerning these questions, but did not find one. If you are aware of a thread already started on this and could direct me that would be great too. Otherwise, if you could take a few moments and answer these questions, I would really appreciate it.

1)How long have you worn your hearing aids?

2) What type of hearing aid are you currently wearing?

3) For how long before you got your hearing aids did you suspect you had a hearing loss?

4) How long do you wear your hearing aids each day?

5) Do you feel like you get a benefit from your hearing aids?

6) What complaints do you have about your hearing aids?

7) Did you get your hearing aids from an audiologist or a hearing aid dealer?

8)Do you feel like your hearing aids have lived up to what your audiologist or hearing aid dealer told you they would do?
