How many of you use a hearing aid and/or cochlear implant dehumidifier? Some people use the Hen-Hal Dri Aid with those pellets that turn blue or pink when ready. Others use some type of pellets and a tupperware cup/lid or another kind of container. Then there are other people who uses a Dry & Store (Professional or Global). There may be other options out there that I haven't mentioned.
Which one do you use, and what are your experiences?
I used to use the hearing aid dehumidifier in those cans with pellets (this one can be heated with either the oven or the microwave), but I didn't like it too much....I didn't know how much to heat it (I didn't have the instructions with me), and I was told that the microwave is kind of loud to shut at night since there are others sleeping.
So I bought Dry & Store.....I like it a lot better! You can just plug it in, and then forget about it until the next morning (it shuts itself off). And it doesn't make noise to wake other people. I also like the deodorizing effect, makes it easier to remove earwax, and gets rid of moisture. I think it's a great investment for me to use.
What about you?
