Have you noticed that PS2 is thinner?

Yesterday my mom got PS2 for my family since old PS2 died.... When I saw it for first time, its thinner and lighter! Easy to carry too.... Weird...
 
It is known as the "Slimline PS2". It is 75%(?) smaller than the old PS2, and much more reliable( I think) than the old PS2.
 
Yeah I have that too and it certainly gives you alot of space on ur entertainment center.
 
and and plus you can use it for network games like phantasy star universe or everquest
 
It's bad for hackers because they need 40GB HDD and Linux then start hacking on other people's computer.
 
oh yea i have black slim ps2 cant wait to get PSU! *evil laugh*
 
it's out for a while already, somewhat surprised you didn't know

it's known to overheat if not kept in a clear area.
 
it overheats because the part they cut off was where they put a fan and heatsinks... I think. Don't quote me on this and I don't feel too keen as to unscrew my ps2 and find out, but I'm pretty sure as seeing theres a filtered dust vent there...
 
Yea, my sis had PS2 slimmer while I had old version one, ughhh

and fei i refuse to say i wi ll beat you because i know yo ur skill and dang you re good so i dont know what the result ll be hope to see you on psu and have an duel i hope noone ll hack into it for weapons that ll screw up the character data
 
I nearly won in the contest to get free slim PS2 at Wizard Expo. Unfortunatly, I lost as I end in 4th place over AV race game in video game.

if I won, I would sell it for money :P
