You're going to kill me Frisky, I accidently hit a passing gray cat in the middle of I-4 (the highway that connects Tampa-Orlando). It shrieked and I pulled over to compose myself but I couldn't help it, it limped away. :(

so far, just small creatures on the road if any. Think I might have run over a squirrel or two, why are those little buggers always playing in the street?

I once hit a squirrel on my bike, it was running across the road and ran straight into my front tire. I guess it got stuck in the spokes as it went around a few times then flew out....lol I looked in my mirror and the little critter was zig-zaggin everywhere....lol

After reading this one page it's too bad this one got resurrected. And out of boredom.

I hit once, a beautiful black lab dog a few years ago. When I ended my shift, I was driving on the way home from work in the back road, everything was pitching black, at first, I thought it was a black plastic bag but it was turned out that it's a black dog. Unfortunately, I hit it. I had to pull over and look for that poor dog (and my SUV, too. No damages...). It's nowhere. The lady driver also pulled over because she's the witness and asked me if I am OK. I told her I am OK but shaking and upsetting about hitting that dog and asked her to call the cops, which she did because I don't want to leave the accident sense. She said she saw everything, and that it was not my fault and she also said she knows whose dog belongs to. I told her that I wanted to speak with the dog's owner. So, we went to the owner's house and she told them what happened and that I am deaf, etc. I told them how sorry I was, etc. They admitted me that it was their fault for letting their dog out without a leash. A minute later, the cops arrived and questioned us. The cops fined the owner for that, not me. I felt so bad for them. The dog was lying on the road near the owner's house and the cops called 911, to take it to the nearest vet hospital by the amblance and I told them to let me know how their dog's surgery, etc. The next day, they called and let me know that their dog died during the surgery because of the internal bleeding and also, because of old age. I was crying and offering them a new puppy but they reassured me not to worry because they already have other two dogs and they thanked me for the offer. I sent them a sympathy card, they sent me a very nice letter and they said they wanted to keep touch in with me. We still are remaining to be friends since then because we have same interests.
Also, my best friend (and I) hit a big male deer. Her new car was totally damaged (that can't be fixed..) and that deer was hurt badly. She called her Uncle. He came with his rifle gun, shot it's head, picked it up and throw it over to his pickup truck's flatbed. The uncle took it to his factory barn along with dead deers for selling meats, etc. I had a terrible nightmare over that for a week. I am suffered from PTSD, but not one thing. Many things... :(

This is sad!
