Have you bought from "Hearing Aid Battery Shop"

And, oh yeah, Walmart rocks. We have three nearby, one is the 'ghetto', the other is the 'redneck', and the best one is the regular...but it takes 25 minutes to go there. I can wear dirty, greasy clothes and blend in easily.

Which one are you? Don't be shy, tell us. We promise not to laugh.

As the subject line says have any of you bought from the new sponsor "Hearing Aid Battery Shop"? I ask because, if I am following their pricing list correctly, they are about 1/3 the cost of what I would pay locally even on sale. I am concerned about their offer being "too good to be true".

I bought a pack of 6 (60 batteries) for $34. so far, all good.

I like to think of it as the price to pay to keep hearing people from completely rejecting us....

And, yes, what a pain. 2 CI's, two batteries each, usually lasts 1.5 days if used all day, which is 4 batteries every 1.5 days, so I go through batteries like toilet paper.

Thankfully Cochlear now has rechargeable Lithium batteries that I can put on the charger every night.

yes, rechargeable batteries are indeed awesome.

I'm buying from my audi, because well I trust her lol. And besides, I'm always walking in and using the equipment so I guess I might as well. Also I don't have to wait a week for batteries to arrive :)

Also batteries have an expiry date so I wouldn't want to buy them in bulk and not use them before they're expired :P

Wow, CIs must eat batteries. Mine last almost a month.

anyway lol and the bolded seriously!?!?!? OMG if I get a CI I def need that better paying job at the spa I want lol It's a bit of a rub isn't it? Okay we have this lovely little hurdle in life already not being able to hear, so let's just make it super expensive to be able to get over that hurdle!! Life just ain't fair is it?
Just get AB; Neptune uses rechargeable or disposable AAA batteries, and the Naida CI Q70 will have rechargeable batteries, and a tray for disposables! I get about 10-12 hours out of AAA's in my Neptune now that I'm turned up all the way, longer if I don't jam out music in my car haha.

That's blooding amazing, mine last 5 days!

A month?! How much do you wear your aids?!

And yes, CI's use more batteries because the battery has to power both the internal and external components.

And I know which ones you're talking about. When I go to Walmart I go to the regular one.

It's probably the weather... a lot of people online say batteries drain really fast in cold weather :)

They last the same in the summer. It's coz I use A LOT of power but also a FM system which drains a lot of the battery.

To save on paying sales tax? We do that, but only if we buy a lot of stuff. Unfortunately I must travel through many red lights to get there, as I am on the other side of 896. I am willing to go to the jungle in NCCO to buy small items though...

Do you wear the Oticon Chili? My friend wears one Oticon Chili and hers will last 5 weeks. Which I think is crazy as its a size 13 battery!

That (sales tax) and I'm closer to it than you are. You could take 95 to 141 to avoid lights, couldn't you?

From Christiana, I would take rte 1 south to 299, and 299 is a parking lot on the weekends. Or, I could get on 40, but will go through all the lights before getting on 896. Either way, I am screwed.

Me thinks we're talking about different Walmarts. :hmm:

I get mine on ebay, like $20 for 60. I had no idea costco had decent prices on batteries, I'll have to see how long they last. I usually use PowerOne as they last the longest, about 3 weeks for my Naida S UP.

That's very good 3 weeks :) good going :)

I have no idea how long the Costco batteries last, but awhile. At least 2 weeks probably, I just really don't pay that much attention. It doesn't seem like I change them very often. I bought a new package of the them last July when I got my new aids, I went up in power so I needed 675's instead of 312's and I still have the same package I can tell you that much. Wait, I counted, I still have 21 of the 40 batteries left. I have 2 aids, but I don't wear my left one often so I'm mostly changing batteries for one hearing aid.

But I also never know when my period should be coming either, I guess I'm a bit oblivious.
