its a really good film, mesmerising (yes I spell with s instead z), and funny and disturbig all in one roll.
I'm quite shocked that its really a true story and how fucked up one can get.
Hell, Fine acting too, and how people didnt pick it up I don't know, I wont spoil any of it, All i can say, Get it and come back say what you'd thought. I, for one, thought its kind of reminds me of "catch me if you can" (Leonard Dipcario, Tom Hanks), but with extra oomph cus if the prison scenes and how he got so crafty i jsut dont know...id there's a book im gonna read it...talk about social engineering (form of hacking) at its highest calibre...

First, I thought Wow Everyone loves me but oops its movie! LOL Just kidding!

I haven't seen that movie yet. :) Sound good movie!

I thought you were talking about former cigarette brand called "Phillip Morris". It was back in the middle of 1950 or possibly early 1960. I have not seen the old ad on the black and white T.V. many years ago when I was young. But, :aw: you were talking about the movie title "Phillip Morris". I have not seen the movie about it. Was it on DVD or at the movie theater or on the T.V. movie channell? I have never heard of "Phillip Morris" that was suppose to be shocking to the viewers. Just letting you know what I thought. Sorry. :)

yes,But I don't understand why they made this movie

its highly academic and its well timed, thnk of it, Bush got booted out, (he was embarrassed by this pathogical liar, and the inability of prison staff to keep tabs on Steven), also its makes for great story, so extraordinary, its a kind of a Bio-style thats been slowly gaining popularity, so yah at same time it doesnt take a clever or queer people to see why. Even straights (like me) had a fucking ball, watching it, it was hysterical like what the f**k did people miss it??!

its double edged sword, show that homosexual stereotyping can actually be exploited (which is exactly what he did) and the other side is, showing its ridiculing to the gay liftstyle too, by showing why its more expensive than the 'nuclear family' with responsibilties'...

you see, in this age where people can now choose to be married, stay single, have children or not, be gay, be bi, be in polygamy, and so on. (alot of it is still avoided because the dominant view is stil very strong- somewhat)...
lots of people seem to think Gay people have more money because they dont have children, and/or have double incomes/fairly picky on what do choose to spend their earnings on...and so on this is one of the stereotypes the film played on too
AT the SAME time it was A TRUE StORY...
so it Gave FILM makers/distributors an excuse to disseminated this film...
in order to exploit the 2 layers of the film
the surface (true story shocking part) the deeper layer to downplay, even insult the gay population (but again Gays might like it too because they'd probably think he's a fag version of 'catch me if you can" and he insulted George Bush, etc...in so saying, its again a CLEVER double bladed film...
its not the first time such films released having this sort of cunning sublimed messaged carrying the more famous 'hit story'....

so yeah 'thats why they made the film...

in case you hvent seeen it, see it, or even if you have see it again and thnk about what i said, maybe you'd go ah....Ah....and before you know it, you'd be thinking for some days...

Have fun :)
