...injured themselves on a doorknob?

I have. Allow me to share with you a humorous, yet embarrassing tale, straight from the house of Malfoy. Oh, and feel free to laugh at me. I know this is almost unheard of, unless of course, you're me.

Was in daughter's room...crouched down in front of her door to help youngest son with his pants button. Stood up a little too quickly, and the doorknob, (which seems to stick out a little too far)...was unpleasantly acquainted with the back of my shoulder.

...excruciating pain. :pissed:

Should anyone want to try this - here's another thought. Do this while you're half asleep. Wakes you right up.
 
heh, good one Malfoyish and you are such a good writer too!

I had my share of running into door knobs, since my hallway is a bit narrow and do have two closet doors with door knobs on them, everytime I have something in my arms and not watching where I'm going, I just run right into it.....and at the end, I'm this---> :pissed: (%$#@*) heh
 
Actually, I have a permanent record of a brutal fight that occured in high school. I hit this guy in the eye with a door-knob. This guy was 6'-5" and I was only 5'. Gee... could I have done something like that? Nah! It never happened. Yet, it's on my record. Gee! I wonder why!?
 
:::whine::: Aw, it still hurts. LOL. The moral to this, I guess - be careful when you stand up. LOL.
 
it did happen to me When I was in the bathroom trying to put up a shower curtains while standing on the end of the tub and I lost balance and fell back and thought "the door knob almost went up my ass" of course my butt got sore the whole day even harder to sit down.. :smash:
 
Lol, Cheri danged near "swallowed" a door knob which is what I thought Malfy was gunna do before I finished reading her post! LOL!

*gasp* :booty: got all the bruise. You need to put alot of cream on it before he see your butt around in the corner holidays.

I can imagine you standing there with your ass stuck to the door. Imagine the fire department trying to take you apart! :laugh2:

mm, cant remember if i had a problem with knob. but what you said up here about something woke me up when i was half asleep. years ago, my old dog was brown, so was the carpet used to be brown. he always slept on the carpet right front of my bedroom door. at nighttime, it was so dark i didnt even bother to turn on the light, i accidentally stepped on him and he nipped me. it actually woke me up right there! after it happened, i turned lights on before i went to my room, but sometimes i forgot and it happened again and again :-x poor my ol' mark.
 
I have had my share of doorknob problems. The ones I prefer are the European ones where you push it down to open. Only problem is that if one has loose clothing or bag string, it can get caught by that handle and startle me from time to time. Ugh...
 
That only proves that doorknobs are up to no good, eh, Kuifje? LOL. When they're not creating dents in your shoulders, they're grabbing ahold of you so that they can irritate you in a different way.
