Gun Appreciation Day

How could they if the shooter commited suicide which becomes more common now? CT shooter, NY firefighters' killer, mall shooter and so on.

hence... restoration of gun rights (unfettered) for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves from those sick murderers. and let me clarify about "those with mental illness". that's why we need to place a high priority on our healthcare system especially for those with mental illness instead of banning guns since it doesn't solve anything.

Tell me which one actually the shooter got the gun LEGALLY andbwith proper procedure?

The CT shooter STOLE the gun from his mother, NY firefighter shooter asked his neighbor to buy him gun under woman's name, and so on.

It is VERY VERY rare that shooter that turns murder obtain firearm legally!

yep. hence "family, friends, a street buy, or an illegal source for 80%"

Yep, but what I am saying is at gun shows (at least here) there are private owners that bring guns to swap.....not just dealers. The dealers at gun shows here still have to do the background check but the private sellers don't.....just like if they sold the inthe newspaper.

My point being, gun shows do not facilitate sales without background checks as Crazy is implying. Nothing shady going on, just sales between private parties.

Yup, there is saying... "There is no health without mental health."

So it's legal for Jiro to sell his gun(s) to a stranger? No fucking way!

Who is going to stop him? He can if he wants to as long as nobody knows.
You think that's cool?

Ok, he has a gun permit so I am sure that he agreed not to sell his guns to someone else. What's the fucking difference between him and the lady who got the guns for the killer of the firefighters?

the difference between me and that lady is that I did not buy a gun for somebody else. she did.

she lied on her gun application. I didn't. and she lied to police officers about it. now she's being charged with state and federal crimes.

I have to follow the state law when it comes to selling a gun. for handgun, I'd have to use FFL as a proxy if he is from out-of-state. and I have to immediately file an application to NJ State Police within 5 days after the sale.

ATF Online - Firearms - Frequently Asked Questions - Unlicensed Persons
Q: What record-keeping procedures should be followed when two private individuals want to engage in a firearms transaction?
When a transaction takes place between private (unlicensed) persons who reside in the same State, the Gun Control Act (GCA) does not require any record keeping. A private person may sell a firearm to another private individual in his or her State of residence and, similarly, a private individual may buy a firearm from another private person who resides in the same State. It is not necessary under Federal law for a Federal firearms licensee (FFL) to assist in the sale or transfer when the buyer and seller are “same-State” residents. Of course, the transferor/seller may not knowingly transfer a firearm to someone who falls within any of the categories of prohibited persons contained in the GCA. See 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g) and (n). However, as stated above, there are no GCA-required records to be completed by either party to the transfer.

There may be State or local laws or regulations that govern this type of transaction. Contact State Police units or the office of your State Attorney General for information on any such requirements.

Please note that if a private person wants to obtain a firearm from a private person who resides in another State, the firearm will have to be shipped to an FFL in the buyer’s State. The FFL will be responsible for record keeping. See also Question B3.

Guess you made your own drift and gone down wrong way.

oh I forgot one more thing... she claimed her gun was stolen... which was a lie.

so now you understand the difference between me and that criminal?

No, he does not understand nor able to separate from wishful thinking and the realities.

Oh, good, that's called paperworks. Would it include the buyer's name, etc (hopefully)?

I'm not concerned about Jiro because he's legit gun owner, so I'm very concerned about criminals that harm to our society.
