Since you all know I work full time in the government as a apprentice, this afternoon I got the good news, I applied for ongoing position and guess what? I won the position!

YAY!

Congratulation on your getting a promotion or position. You deserve to have this job. Go out and shout to the world that I got promoted to a better job than apprentice. Way to go, Jacob. Hip,hip, hurrah!!! :thumb:
 
It is a promotion but to a higher level but this time, it is permenant!

That's great news, Jacob...congrats! (aww...handwave smiley is no longer listed) I'm curious, can you list the duties you do as apprentice so I would know what you do at work for the government? That job will help support your own living...that's great! Good paying job with good benefit is hard for most people to get nowadays with bad economy.
 
I am a techical support officer which I solve issues from the clients and look after the website we control with. That's all I can say.
 
Congrats Jake on getting a permenant position! I got mine a month ago after being on contracts after contracts in various govt depts for 7 years. Thanks goodness! Now I can plan the future ahead further. :)
 
I have been in the department for only nearly 2 years! :eek: Now I am facing my new career of my future life! OMG. :D3
 
Thank you all for the congratulations. It is what I have deserved for so long. I am going to be 100% sure that my supervisor would be very pleased to hear the news, when he reads the email! :)
