Good day all! (and a hot one for us...)
We're in Las Vegas, and I just started taking ASL 1. I actually picked up a second degree plan in Deaf Studies after gaining interest in the language. Part of my class requirement is to get involved in the deaf community and spend at least 10 hours socializing with deaf individuals. I think this is a great idea! Anyhow, does anyone know of a good resource for finding events within Las Vegas? Additionally, I've been informed by some interpreting friends that some events welcome hearing individuals who are learning ASL, whereas others aren't as student friendly. Any advice and information is appreciated.
