I am a 86 year old retired, well traveled single male living alone in a first class Assisted Living apartment. I am almost totally deaf despite having a left ear Cochlear Implant installed two years ago and a Resound Hearing Aid in the right ear, neither of which helps me hear. I am hopeing that my appointment with a VA Audiologist on the 31st of August in Palo Alto, California will produce a hearing benefit for me.

There's a difference between hearing and understanding, if it's not about your ear CI can't help what your brain or nerves don't do, welcome aboard
