I had to buy a new mouse today. I guess I wore out the old one from all this computer course work.
I already bought the mouse today. It's a wireless Logitech Marathon. I try to get ones that are most comfortable in my hand.Get gaming mouse because they are more durable.
I know that you are not gamer but durable is important to keep last longer.
Welcome baaaack! Congrat on your hard work!!
Only a 92 on that one quiz? Were you slacking that one day ;-). Congrats on your success!
To be honest, I could have disputed that grade. (They were computer multiple choice/true-false quizzes. I found and proved with the textbook that my answers were correct despite what the automatic grader showed, so the instructor gave back my points.) I disputed some of my other grades and got 100's. It just got too annoying to dispute each one (I felt like a whiner), so I didn't bother on the last one. Besides, perfection is boring, eh?
You aren't alone to dispute the grade, so I did disputed some of grades, especially in business math when automatic grader seems not went well so my professor decided to re-check manually and corrected the problem.
Besides, perfection is boring, eh?
Well, one of my ancestors was from Nova Scotia. So true, which is why I can consider myself a very interesting person! haha
Oh and it did not go unnoticed that you are becoming quadrilingual - english, ASL, computerese and now a dash of Canadian .
Today I registered for and started my Spring semester classes. I will be taking two full-semester courses. I might also take two FastForward II classes that start Feb. 28, if they're still available then. As usual, I'm restricted to what I can take because I have to wait until the first day of class to register.
My classes are:
Introduction to Network Administration
LINUX Essentials
Not off to a good start--the book store sold out of the textbooks. They might have more in a couple days. That means I'm already a couple days behind schedule.
The problem is, my college gets its textbooks custom published for their own classes, and the technology ones change every year, sometimes every semester. Also, it's not just the book--it's the code that comes with it for downloading programs and access for the quizzes and labs. They are a one-time-use product. Sometimes the code is half the cost of the book.sometimes I get lucky by renting textbook from public library because it's not an ordinary textbook. saved at least $300 this way during my college year. books for computer courses are especially the easiest to find from public library.
I'm not sure if it's same with you but in here - all libraries in Bergen County work together so it is very easy to find most of books I want to borrow. I think there are at least 40 public libraries in the cooperative network system.
At least you don't give up!i still in moron class i will never get upgraded to idiot class my goal to get to dumb arse class.that the class i learn how upload pics...seems years away...plod on
Sounds like a very full schedule!I will take 2 online classes, full semester - Sociology and Accounting.
I received an email from DSS and they told me that online courses will use a lot of videos. Many of videos are captioned and she will try to work to make all videos to be captioned.
I will take 2 traditional classes - Legal Studies and Microeconomic, so they found a excellent interpreter so no issue for me.
