This trip was in late May of last year. I was really disappointed with most of my pics at the Grand Canyon because of the haze caused by pollution. We camped there for a few days and on are way back home we stopped at Slide Rock state park which is in Oak Creek Canyon next to Sedona. In Some of the Grand Canyon pics you should be able to see the Colorado river.

beautiful ! but yes sadly it is pollution at Grand Canyons. my last trip to there was 1976. i never forget how beautiful it was. today more businesses spread out around the grand canyon like mcdonalds. it is not pretty lately. my brother went to there again and told me he was not happy with how the present at grand canyon was compared with 1976's.

Yeah, so sad about pollution. I went there in 2000, it was beautiful though. I would love to go back again and go to Zion Park, Utah to take a friend of mine there. My sis in law is considering about moving back to Vegas, if that was the case, I can fly out there w my boys and take them there! That would be a blast.

Hopefully, if we have a commonsense U.S. President who will stand up to the big corporations and the pollution and return many areas of America to the American character that it was before all of these rich people got out of control.

I've been to Slide Rock near Sedona, it's a fun place to play, and Sedona and surrounding areas are beautiful!

We took a Pink Jeep Tour out into the back country ~ very fun!
