:werd: I agree! I hate when averages work that way. One bad number can pull down an average more than a bunch of good numbers. Grr!
 
:roll: in my art classes- all courses that are required for my major- B's. I found it strange to have B's in art classes... I mean... all you do in Art 100 and 101 is draw shapes then paint in those shapes and then frame it. arugh. The particpation kills the grades for me, i admit, i dont like to raise my hand to answer all questions and being a teacher's pet :roll: Guess I am at the fault for my grades. I don't like it when they make the particaption into a big deal. I avoid raising my hand for couple of reasons such as: miscommunication due to interperaters' inability to prepare themselves for translating me because I usually know what the teacher says but the interp has NO idea what the hell the teacher means, you know, "Abstractize the object would assist to harmonize the saturation hues in the composition" etc... so Miscommunication is the major factor... argh.

Altho i got one A... in my english class. :applause: not.
A, B, B+, B+, and a NC (no credit). GPA: 3.48

I need to do better next semester to keep my GPA above 3.5... or 3.75 in order to be able to major in Graphic Design. I am taking six classes in spring so... hope I can handle the load and prehaps pad my GPA to be good enough for my college's major department.

I hate it that there are many majors on the campus being "impacted" so they set up a higher standard to join in their major program/courses...

Anybody out there have a similar problem?
