GOT MVP but what is the password for DIR 625 router?

That is weird. you might want to call HOVRS' customer care and have them do some health check on your MVP. it is possible it is defective.
Yeah, I think it's the network card in the MVP. It only gets one out of four bars (wifi strength) while my computer and my phone gets all four.

The ethernet cable definitely works better. I tested it with the original poster of this thread and he said that my picture has improved, but it gets blurry when I sign.

Because you are on DSL connection

It has nothing to do with the DSL connection, you might consider changing the network speed? (384/384)

Nope, I tested Viable on my computer and my picture is clear.

Becuase that Viable Vision is a computer Based version, which is a very strong software, it is not similar to what we have on the portable phones.

This thread is interesting :hmm:

My Linksys WRT54GSv4 with DD-WRT work both VP-200 and MVP without D-Link DIR-625 & DIR-615

Cheer

I'm not currently using the Dlink router. I went back to the Linksys router because of the wifi signal strength. It's in the living room and I'm in the bedroom right now.. I'd say I'm about 12 feet away from the router. My roommates' computers are on the opposite side of the house from the living room, and their wifi signal from the Linksys router is still strong.

I have heard something about it-- but they say that they do not make it anymore, instead they suggested me to get GL one. What about tomato firmware or something like that. Thought? And how do you get both vp-200 and mvp to work? incoming work for both of them?

Currently I have DGL-4300. (gaming router).

for In-home, SVP200 user can call from the buddies list (address book in VP200) can call directly to MVP, that I tested "SVRS Test and callback" from my VP200, they called back directly to my MVP, whoooaaa it's work!

For hotspot (coffee and resturants) the SVP200 user would have to leave a videomail message, when you will get videomail popped up on your MVP at the hotspot place you can call back there.

MVP and SVP200 are interoperatablely!

Please check your spelling. I had no idea what word mean. I checked with
dictionary and google and can't find.

I had confused about different routers between DIR-615 and DIR-625. I had gotten email message from Purple this morning about updated DMZ firmware for D-Link 625. Please don't contact me. If needing to configure network setting in this router, you should contact Purple Customer Care and they will help you to solve problem or rep will stop to fix router. Thanks

Cool

I tested mvp to see if it works, but it doesn't work yet but only login and web plus settings to modiy, it works.

So does it still need a firmware from hovrs in order to make mvp works with my 624 router, right?

Yes, I got email message from Purple about updated DMZ firmware software this morning. You better contact Purple Customer Care at first and they will send this firmware to you.

My MVP is set automatically at 384/384. What should I change it to, lower or higher?
