Google now commands a 31.8% market share—desktop and mobile, combined—which is up 6% year-over-year (YoY). IE sits at 30.9%, down by 6% YoY, while Apple’s Safari, thanks to its vast mobile presence, is the third most popular browser, with a 25% share.

Google Chrome is better than IE. I have used both of Chrome and Safari for my Mac.

Google Chrome is better than IE. I have used both of Chrome and Safari for my Mac.

I just got a barely used Windows 8.1 tablet PC earlier today, and the first thing I did was to install Google Chrome, cause I ain't using IE on here, no way.

Interesting to see Firefox slowly declining. Maybe because it's a memory-leaking bloated piece of junk?

Of course that Google Chrome is growing...since Chrome for mobiles are widely popular since there are many android phone out there. Do you see any IE on mobile phone?? Noooooooooo..... So, Chrome on PC AND Mobile for sure it'll beat IE. If without mobile, I believe the Chrome is still little under IE.

Been using Chrome since it was first released! :yesway:

I use Chrome exclusively because it's fast and clean. I hated IE. Normally when I re-install Windows, I had to use IE for first time and download Chrome then afterward, I set Chrome as main browser, unpinned IE.

I've used Firefox, it was okay but things have changed in Firefox and sometime I had an issue. Firefox isn't bad so I added it to Windows as a 2nd browser.

What I reallly hate the most is that when I go to website and either sign up or setup online, It "complained" that I am using incompatible browser, must use IE. That pissed me off. What if I am using my Samsung S4 or Linux on PC and needing to use the website, I would get sucked. Stupid web developer!!

Personally, I wanted to UNINTEGRATE IE from Windows (done that 15 years ago on Windows 98 and ME that have IE 3.0, using IE Remover). It works so well that made Windows runs like supercomputer, back then when I had puny 233mhz processor Packard Bell with 128mb RAM maximum, unintegrate IE from Windows 98 or ME made pc runs like supercomputer which runs hell lot faster than today's computer. Even I hacked BIOS (using Mr BIOS) and modify powerup option to "boot to Windows", power on and Windows loaded and settles in 10 seconds ready to use. Start Menu and click any one of program or double click on one of desktop icons, like Netscape Navigator or MS Word, it'll pop and ready to use in split seconds Damn!! I wish I kept it and video it to Youtube to prove it to all of ya. You'll freak out how fast and make you wishing that today computer can do exactly same so that you won't roll ur eye waiting for it to load. I've experienced Ethernet like speed on dial-up few months before AOL decide to advertise $25 a month. I missed all those "superspeed" and now I have to put up crappy speed on my laptop even it's tweaked or installed Win 8, no matter how I tweak it, it's still slow to me even it's fast to your perspective .

The reasons Chrome is better that others. :naughty:

Firefox require to have flash player installed if you want watch videos etc...

Flash player give me some problem like freeze, shockwave errors, etc...

Chrome don't need flash player that is why.:cool2:

I use Chrome for Facebook, Netflix, etc...and use FF for other things like forums, online shopping etc...

Actually, Chrome has Flash integrated and doesn't need it to be installed like the other browsers. Additionally, it'll update on its own without you having to do anything.

You can see this by typing chrome://plugins in the address bar.

I rarely use the Chrome on mac.

I used Firefox for years.. But Id estimate these past 2 years, Ive been running Chrome.

And that's awesome about the 64 bit version. I may download that later tonight
