Goodbye, Max

Thanks guys.

Sorry for your loss of your dog, rest in peace Max.

dang, this thread made me cry. Every day I deal with dead dogs and cats on the street. It breaks my heart then I got so mad at my little dog whom she refused to go outside to pee this am because it is cold. I need to remind myself my dogs need my understanding. Your dog is a beautiful. i am so sorry for the loss. RIP Max.

May Max rest in peace and run free. Wishes go to you and your family JClarke.

Sorry to hear about this, Jacob. Sounds like he had a long happy life. A big hug for you.

She looked like a sweet dog, and I'm sure she had a nice long life full of love. My condolences to you and family, JC.

Appericate the condolences, guys.

Yesterday afternoon, I was at home from work, I went to play with Ted, my 6 month old puppy, it was weird not seeing Max around as she used to be.

Sounds like Max was a lucky dog to have you. I am going through a similar thing, but not here to steal your thread. I know how you feel right now. Glad you have a puppy to help you grieve. Your puppy is also grieving. Time will help.

Awesome! I wish I have to purchase a Husky puppy when I find a new apartment.

Husky and you live in CA? Please keep husky in cool temp since they hate heat.

We have two siberian huskies. Do you have any question about husky before you plan to get a husky. Please PM me.

RIP Max. I am thinking about you and your family JClarke. Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family.

Sorry to know of your loss. May she live on in your hearts - the memories will always hold her close.

Sorry to hear about your dog's loss.

Congrats on the new addition to your fur family, JClarke!! I bet he's adorable!

You do know that they develop thin coat right to compensate for the heat? They can handle the heat fine.

The only issue is that, they're not really apartment dogs. Lots of people find them to be too big or too restless to live in one hence why half of the dogs in rescues here are huskies. Mind you, there are always exceptions.

Sorry to hear about your loss. May Max rest in peace. Do remember the good times that you had with Max.

I am soo sorry to hear about your loss. Put down is a good idea and didn't want to see the pet is suffered the pain. Last year the vet have to put down my loving dog called Taffy after he got a hips and back issues. He always limping, cant run anymore, sit down at all time. I want him to sleep peacefully and without pain. The operation is too expensive but however he is in an old age but put down is a best option.
