you are not alone. one of my good friend left AD too which is one reason i am not around much on AD.. I have checked on other forum where this good friend uses.. you can pm me and see if you and Central wanna try other forum for a while until everything cools down on this AD.. there is one member I am not pleased at all at this AD .. oh well life sucks sometimes.

I'm sure whenever Apatharev wants, he'll read AD threads from his Sidekick.
 
I think he's being a little too sensitive and dramatic. Most forums out there for the deaf or the hearing are much tougher than AD. He is choosing to let a few people drive him away. And about the boring part, why doesn't he do something to spice up this place?

I wish him well....

Tousi your right most fourms are alot tougher but why does this one have to be? Cental and Aj did spice up the fourms but I know it's hard to stay at a fourm where someone is just after you i got run away from a diffrenet fourm for that same reason

You say, ".........but why does this one have to be"? Hon, this one isn't necessarily that way. After all, ppl are saying there's one person hounding him. Well, just one person? There's ways to take care of one person; Blocking, Mod intervention, etc. And as for the "boredom" part, well, we all are the ones who make life dull or exciting, right? I think I am done here because I get the feeling I am contributing to the attention-getting factor of this topic.

I ain't let every forums bother me. But, if people wish to leave the site, and let them go. And they will missing something or they just want get out. So, we has to respect their wishes in some ways. I don't blame at them, But if Central want to leave or take a break, if that best for him than being banned or burst to everyone for wrong reason. Wish him the best!

AJ and Cental are not the only two people in this forum spice up alldeaf, AllDeaf has been here longer than AJ and Cental have been, and we all had our blast of fun before they arrived. So really It's not all about them two. Some members have to learn to ignored, I put a person on block, I'm not afraid to use it again on someone else, where it gets to the point that annoys the heck out of me. :)


The bottom line is, We had very good threads that were created by a lots of members that were very interesting. Please don't point out two people against all members here. That's unfair thing to say. :ty:

i do have to say Cental and i did make some pretty awesome threads, sorry to toot my own horn. im sure he'll come back. he'll probably kick my ass for making this thread.

I'll agree that the 'signal to noise' ratio has increased to near-insufferable levels here on AllDeaf. I find myself just reading a few topics that pique my interest and ignoring all other active threads. Nearly all different forums have this kind of problem, though, so I'll continue to participate.

It would be very cool if there was a 'block poster' function in this forum. AllDeaf would be all that much more enjoyable.
 
Eyeth, I believe there is such a function/feature.

I just checked the Control Panel; There is an 'Ignore' feature in which I can add people. However, it isn't as convenient as if I were to click on a user's name in a thread and select 'Ignore Poster'. Only the 'Add Poster to your Buddy List' is in the menu that pops up when you click on the user name in a thread.

Anyway, thanks for prodding me about this! I'll just use the Control Panel to manage my viewing experience here on AllDeaf. :)

People who quit AD are wimps that believe that AD folks are the ones who decide what their self worth is.

Ok, it seems some people are getting the wrong idea, and are being mislead, I am NOT leaving because of a particular person or people. It's no secret there are a handful of people on here whom I think would be better off as glorified paper weights, but that's why I've got a growing ignore list. My reasoning for leaving is simply because I've became bored. I'm finding myself less and less interested in posting, and I just don't have the motivation to keep posting. The current ongoing discussions are not something that catch my attention, and it just seems less and less fun. You all are likely right, one day I'll probably come back, but as for now, I'm hanging up the AD mouse and keyboard. For those who have my contact info, or chat with me on other websites, you may see me around there. For those who don't, always feel free to drop me a PM. Until next time...

sheesh cant one decide to leave to keep this quiet....cause more dramatic measures in here....I hate when they do that :roll:

It no big deal if they are leaving as long they keep in touch with their own friends which is fine. I agree with tousi and sherry on their comment. I think whoever decide to leave dont need to post or announce that they decide to leave. Just simple pm the owner of forum ask them to delete their account and that it. IT is more easier that way than cause dramatic in here. :thumbd:
