Whether or not you check back to this thread, whatever it is that you'll do, I can only hope the very best for you and your lovely and sweet girl, that the bond will only get tighter, the closeness surpasses all understanding, above all, the loving support gives 'life' an enjoyable meaning and purpose. Of course, no one needs to go through such bickering, the belittling, etc., when it comes to certain issues and circumstances, however, that is what makes the world unique and diverse...the challenges before us, we can choose to turn the other way, ignore it, not let it 'get to us'...or we can go head on with these challenges...even if others are at the point of vehemously opposing yours, and others' views/opinions...it's like one of my favorite line/quote in a movie (Independence Day):
"Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice:
"We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!" We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"
--The above quote speaks in huge volumes, pertaining to our rights to 'live--exist', however, the part where it's highlighted (bold)...I, myself, often think back to this line, gives me that personal boost to move forward--hopefully, for you
Lillys Dad and any others can lean on and have that certain courage to proceed ahead in this life, for oneself, for the sake of loved ones, family and friends.
..Good luck--
