Going away for Funeral

I'd like to thank everyone here for the thoughtful and support. I got back home safely about 11:15pm after a long layover wait. The funeral turns out very nice and my grandfather took it hard since they been married for 62 years. She will be buried today (Monday) at the request of my grandfather. My grandfather, Dad, and I wore black suits with pink tie which is my grandmother's favorite color. She will be missed with so many memories that lives on.

Again, thank you everyone and I am deeply appreciated and it has been hard in the past few days and we held up ok, but same time feeling sad with grief but we know she won't be suffering here anymore and she is in good hands with our Lord.

It's good to have you back here, Calvin... Sorry for not our (me and my wife) saying or thoughts for your late grandma lately and we are saying that "Belated" sympathy and condolence for your loss. Yeah, she is in very good hands with the Lord forever and AMEN!!!!
 
sorry to hear about your grandmother.. just remember the good times you had with her.. :) 62 years of marriage is sure long time... for your grandparents tho.

Thank you, and yes 62 years is a long time and they always happy together to death do us part that's for sure :)
 
By the way, my wife's deceased parents had their 61 years of their marriage but only four month shy of 62 years that her dad passed away in 2001 and then her mom passed away in 2003 as they were dating three days and then got married for 61 yrs and rest in peaces for them.....
