Go, Ron Paul, Go!

Beowulf, you would be pleased to know that during tonight's debate, Ron Paul's supporters stuck up for him loudly. The moderator had asked the candidates about abortion. Each one took a turn at answering. For some reason, intentional or not, I do not know, the moderator didn't ask for Paul's answer and started asking another question. Well, a large number in the audience started shouting "Paul" and "let Paul answer" and similar words. So, the moderator did go back to Paul and gave him his turn to reply. :)

The cockles of my heart, they are warmed, senorita! :giggle:

That is a red herring. ALL of religion is to be kept out of government affairs. If you're going to have christian prayers, then you need to include muslim prayers and Native American prayers, as well as everyone else. Do we have time to allow each group their one moment or two in a class of 60 kids or more in an international classroom? Will anything get done by lunch time? Or how about religious paraphernalia on public property - do we have room to include all that, or do we have to expand properties to fit them in? Or how about the "swear to tell the truth" bit - the person that holds the bible under the witness' hand before proceeding; does s/he know what to conduct for the religions of the courtroom participants when they get up on the witness stand?

Is there anything wrong with holding forth a moment of silence so that everyone may pray (or not) as they are?

And by the way, MSN lied. Ron Paul buys refundable coach tickets and gets upgrades to first class whenever his frequent flyer miles allow him to. :P

Such pathetic smearing.

I knew there had to be a catch somewhere. People are to be punished severely for doing things like what they tried to do to Ron Paul.

Ron Paul was on the Libertarian ticket in 1988, if you didn't know.

Yes, I did know, but like most lied-to voters, I didn't vote libertarian until recent years.

Now, pushing this off to the side. What the hell is this? 230 posts, and not one mention about Ron Paul's stand on sound money. Not a single word. And for some reason, I'm not surprised... Does ANYBODY know what Sound Money means?

If it's audist, we ignore it? :P

Are you talking about this?
