I would think the Carnival would of had a sign posted warning people not have and lose clothes on and to have their long hair pinned up .As someone with really long hair, I am surprised the parents did not think of this and teach her to protect herself. But then again who would think these rides could cause such devastating damage to the poor girl... :'(
That good , I posted this thread to let people know of risk of having long hair and going on Carnival Ride . The traveling carnivals needs to better inspected b/c somethingNot a lot of people think about that. I never think about my hair on a ride. But now I will think twice
That is horrible, they should put it in the rule things. No pregnant women, no loose change, no hats, no loose long hair, no loose clothing. These should be in big pictures with bold letteringThat good , I posted this thread to let people know of risk of having long hair and going on Carnival Ride . OUCH !! I hope the girl will regain her eyesight too. There should signs posted now putting long hair up before going the rides.I've never seen any warning on any rides about long hair; I have seen warnings about removing glasses and keeping hands inside the car or ride, but that's about it. I also know someone who had long hair that he kept in a ponytail and was scalped by a drive shaft on a car he was working on, but the hair and scalp was torn off his head from the base of his neck to just above his eye brows. It was surgically reattached in something like a 16 or 20 hour surgery that was successful. Today he still is a mechanic and all you can see is a faint line above his eye brows, but that is about it and he now has a lot shorter hair. I home the girl has a similar successful outcome.
