Girl, 4, kept out of school for pink hair

People are overreacting way too much about little things these days. I read an article about a little preschool boy getting kicked out of his school because he hugged his teacher and accidently touched her boob. Then the teacher cries sexual assault. What the hell is this world coming to? Grow up people!!!

Actually the 4 years old didn't get kicked out of school but was put into IN school suspension...

Here's the thread http://www.alldeaf.com/parenting/36802-4-years-old-accused-improperly-touching-teacher.html

Yet for the little girl with pink hair is a entirely different issue, where some schools do have dress code and grooming policy, maybe the grooming policy wasn't of specific on what sort of hair grooming they approved of, but we still have to follow and respect the rules whether we don't think it's fair or not...

If you do not allow a little child to be creative and expressive at age four when do you? And what do you accomplish by stiffling them?

Do they bottle it up and put a lid on it until someday it explodes in violent, negative rebellion?

Or is that creative little spark of fun and fantasy murdered permanently never to return again the rest of their life?

Being a child means being involved in that vile, disgusting four letter word called "Play" before they grow up and get involved in that other vile, disgusting four letter word called "Work".

I'm a great grand father five times over and I cannot concieve the mind that would take a child's playing dress up all that seriously. If my four year old great grand daughter wants great grand ma to dye our hair pink -- Then we will all parade to town in bright pink hair.
